Looking for Partners

Schreiber Digital Media has always been pretty much a one man project. Lately things have been picking up, both in my freelance ventures as well as my 9-5 job at the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. After a recent increase in project requests, I've decided that it's time to change my business model.

For the next few weeks, I'll be meeting with local talent who would be interested in working on new and upcoming projects with me. I'm open to meeting people with any background in multi-media, but due to the nature of the projects I've been getting lately, I'm specifically looking for people with web development experience, because I can only consider individual candidates located near Pittsburgh, PA. I can't outsource to anyone who I can't meet in person before the project begins. If you feel like this might be you, stop by my contact form and let me know.

New Gig!

Some of you might already know that for the past few months I've been splitting my time between Schreiber Digital Media and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, a leading non-profit that's dedicated to improving quality of life in Western Pennsylvania. I'm happy to say that things have been working out well, and WPC has offered me a full time job as their resident web/multimedia guru.

I'll still be pretty active with SDM, and although I've temporarily slowed things down, believe me when I say that I've got big plans for the future, and I'll still be actively seeking new clients. If you have a project you'd be interested in telling me about, feel free to fill out the contact form to tell me about it.

Web Development

These days everyone's got hundreds of choices when it comes to finding someone to create or maintain your website. So how can you be sure you're getting great quality? We'll start with the obvious. Your website developer and webmaster needs to be:

  • Experienced
  • Reliable
  • Prompt
  • Easily Reachable

But not all websites are created equal, right? Let's add these to the list:

  • Familiar with "Web 2.0" Standards
  • Comfortable with Cross Browser Compatability
  • Capable of constructing Intuitive Navigation

Schreiber Digital Media is a proven, reliable web developer with experience in both developing from scratch and providing well thought out overhauls and updates to dozens of sites. I take pride in creating and maintaining W3C Compliant websites that are easily accessible to all users and are in touch with the current market trends. Once your site is done, I can set up the hosting and handle site updates myself, or I can set you up with a content management system to help you update it yourself.

Feel free to browse these examples of just a few of the websites I have worked with in the past:

http://www.essmc.com
I revised the homepage, created the blue ESSMC button and the first page graphics, as well as basic HTML editing.

http://www.laxburgh.com
I've done HTML editing and updates for this site as well.

http://www.cwdesignllc.com/servlet/StoreFront
I edited product photos, updated and added items to the shopping cart with a service called "Prostores."

http://georgecontedesign.com
I edited most of the photos you see on this site to fit the theme, and helped create and edit the XML that calls the photos for the portfolio section.

http://www.pittsburgh.aiga.org
While I was part of the Pittsburgh AIGA Web Comittee, I took part in planning, layout and development for the new AIGA Pittsburgh site launch.

http://www.cccbc.us
I built this site to keep Cedar Creek Camp Box Comapny in touch with their online clients. It features a gallery of their construction work and a contact form.
